The Origins of The College of Maat

The College of Maat came about in a manner that was unexpected, it all started from a dream that I had telling me to clear a gully on the side of the mountain where I live and having had other dreams that related to this property that showed me several things I followed through and went and cleared this gully which was over grown with Lantana and scrub, after clearing everything away one could feel the energy that was there.

To our amazement there was in the middle of where we had cleared a Visica Piscis of fish fern in a rocky isle at the top of the Visica Piscis was a She Oak that was crowned with Mistletoe and at the base there was a flat square rock giving it a look very much like a Druids Grove and over at the edge of the embankment high up was an ancient Cicad Palm that was over 2,000 years old and so this suggested to us that this site was indeed very ancient and sacred and so we decided to meditate and feel the energy that one could feel around us.

Upon sitting down to meditate we could feel all at once  the Nature Sprits around us, and they being grateful for what we had done opened up to us their realm showing us what was there and why it had to be cleared, we saw first that there was a Golden Statue but we were unable to ascertain what shape it took but we all knew that it was of a woman which was the Mother Goddess  of arcadia, below this statue was a golden flowing river , its mouth was a Rainbow Bridge and the river went to a double vortex, we saw lay lines of all colours around us and felt that indeed we were in a very sacred place.

When I first brought this property I was looking for the boundary pegs one day and was helped by a Guardian and his dress was that of the Guardian at the Pyramid in Gympie and so I had assumed that perhaps there was a connection between both places as the mountains around Gympie are of Initiatory importance to the local Aboriginals even though they said that the Pyramid was never to be disturbed it was not of importance to them as such.

It was during a ritual that Wadjet came to us and told us that we must dedicate this land and Mystic School to "Maat" .

"Maat" is the Egyptian Goddess of Truth and as we had already been told to teach the ancient truths she was a fitting Goddess for this, we teach along Atlantiean/Egyptian lines  " Maat " therefore is not out of place in our concept of teachings, however since then we have had very strong ties to Sekhmet
